February 17, 2016, was the time when my volunteering in Siem Reap Orphanage ended.

I heard that same “See you tomorrow” for five afternoons and suddenly realized that there would be no such tomorrow for the next day as I left. However, the children there still kept saying that to me, as I wove to the place for the one last time.

Tomorrow was a vague idea to these kids as if the world only has tomorrow, and the same people will keep coming back to them again.

Though I knew that this was the place where such coming back were least likely to happen: an orphanage, a shelter with a couple of children being sent by their poor parents, I didn't have the heart to tell those kids the truth.

Thus, I smiled back and replied softly, "see you tomorrow."
